First Yuzu Bath at Yunomori Onsen & Spa

On 23rd November 2016, Yunomori Onsen & Spa (Yunomori) introduce Singapore's first-ever yuzu bath, which will only be available for a limited time till 31st December 2016.
How did Yuzu bath come about? Started in early 18th century, soaking yuzu bath is practised by the Japanese on the winter solstice day. They strongly believe that the yuzu bath can help to ward of winter colds and the common flu.
The benefits of a yuzu bath are many. Following the experience, the skin will become smoother, more radiant and moisturised. (Indeed after soaking in their bath my skin immediately felt more smoother and less dry). Containing citrus acids and vitamin C thanks to the fruit, the bath will help to heal chapped skin as well. The oil from the yuzu stimulates the circulatory and digestive systems. For busy Singaporeans who work long hours, the bath will help to alleviate body aches and back pains as well as improve blood circulation.
Besides the exquisite onsen bath, Yunomori cafe also introduce yuzu-themed mainstays.
Start with the Yuzu Udon at $9.80+, which is served chilled. The yuzu lends a tangy note to the plain al dente udon. I love the dipping sauce with is filled with yuzu taste with every dip.
Accompany the main course with Yuzu Soda at $5+, this soda are so refreshing that it cleanse your palates.
If you don't like soda, there's still Yuzu Smoothie at $5.50+, the smoothie is a rich flavours drinks which promises a velvety consistency.
End your meal with Yuzu Sorbet at $4.50+, the sorbet is a great dessert to combat Singapore's humid weather.
